19 Publications You Should Apply For Before They Stop Accepting New Writers

Be cautious! All publications are getting saturated

Medium has evolved once again with more changes to benefit writers. I’ve been happy with most of them so far, all I have to do is get used to them. As writers, it’s important that we learn to adapt, regardless of how competitive the system is.

I’m glad that Medium is trying to build us up in a way that teaches us to value our writing voices, rather than views.

With the new changes though, it’s obvious that publications matter more now, and Medium is a lot more saturated than it was three months ago or a year ago.

This has caused writers to speed up their submission and writer application. But knowing this, Publication owners and their editor crew are becoming overwhelmed with submissions and applications — and if you haven’t noticed, some publications are not accepting writers anymore.

If that’s not the case, It’s either the publication has a high rejection rate, not because the pieces they receive aren’t quality ones.

Or, the publication is already too saturated — since they can’t accept more than 10 pieces a day (according to their rule) they stop accepting writers and increase their rejection rate.
