How cycling became a feminist issue

Photo from Fit is a Feminist Issue

Cycling in the 21st Century may seem like a simple sport or usual activity for both men and women, but it was quite different back in the 19th Century.

In 1817, Karl von Drais invented the running machine which gave way for the invention of safer machines; they were made portable for men and women in the late 1800s. However, there was huge discrimination linked to cycling for women — perhaps, it was too unladylike since the people of that time had less knowledge of women's empowerment and rights.

The world was harsh about cycling for women because of the…

№ 7: $50 million was yielded from making people look ugly

Photo by JOSHUA COLEMAN on Unsplash

No idea where entrepreneurs come out as lucky, all I hear about is how much they invest in a business and thrive to get their business to the top.

The truth is, some people started small businesses as a joke, expected little result, and made a ton of money using strange strategies — they got lucky.

Here are some of the people that became millionaires, or even billionaires using strategies that grew their business from 0 to infinity to produce yield.

As they say, a world without cats is a world without fun. Just kidding, nobody says that.

They’re not Nigerian princes, yet they make so much money

Photo by Lindsey LaMont on Unsplash

There’s a long list of moneymaking scams in history, and they evolve technically every year.

These scams, you may have fallen for one or two of them from internet scammers. Or maybe not. There’s a high probability that your teenagers have fallen for some through social media, though. These scam agencies have developed more than humanity expected, and they now take advantage of social media, most especially Facebook and Instagram.

That’s all they do—scam people out of their money, block them, and then move to the next victim. Social media is a happy prompt for them.

So, who would fall…

And why Medium uncurated my story when it went viral for a second

Photo by Alexander Schimmeck on Unsplash

Yes, Medium has been a daily mystery to everyone on the platform. I only took some time off the platform and everything seems different. I mean, the upgrade seems good but damn — the drop in views is as unbelievable as the spam emails I receive. I’m not surprised, Medium doesn’t owe me anything, I’m glad I can share my thoughts and opinions on here and make some friends who are writers and readers.

Still, something even more mysterious happened on Medium and I can no longer contain my feelings after reading a dozen sum of articles about it.

Medium…

The origin and painful history of gossip; how it was used against women over the years

Photo of woman wearing gossip’s bridle from i.ytimg

In the modern world, the noun, gossip /ˈɡɒsɪp/, is usually referred to a person who likes talking about other people’s private lives.

However, the term “gossip” dates back to the 12th Century, where the late Old English derived the word “godsibb” ‘god’mother, ‘god’father + a sibling or kin. However, the meaning of gossip gradually changed because of the way society viewed it throughout the years. The Church used the word for good as well, it was recorded that an English bishop named Wulfstan used the word in his sermons.

In time, Middle English began to refer to gossip as someone…

SATIRE

No spam, no game

Photo by Carlos Muza on Unsplash

I mean, I would have quit my job if I knew about this method sooner. It’s like a job on its own to read your emails after a stressful day — especially when it’s not about money. But what if you could read your emails and earn money just by doing so.

You probably think I’m one of those scheming YouTubers who yell about making millions all day but to no avail — no, that’s not what this is all about. Almost.

All of my success from reading my emails came about when I put my email address out there…

Spoken word

Men are disgusted by feminism
Women are scared to admit and side with feminism
All because of society
The pick-me-girls, sisters to the misogynists, are even worse than they seem;
They don’t believe feminism should exist because they’d rather the “boys” be pleased with their ignorant mentality than be attention-forsaken.
It won’t happen, the “boys” just like dumb women.

Whatever he’s saying, the truth is… perhaps a man can never truly, and fully understand what it is to be a woman in a society like ours.
He cannot understand our pain, our aggression, and our defensive attitude — whatever they wish…

The first Australian woman to be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole

Photo of Katherine Knight from News.com

Katherine Mary Knight was born on the 24th of October, 1955. She lives as the first Australian woman to be condemned to life imprisonment without parole. She was sentenced for the murder of her husband in October 2001.

Before the birth of Katherine, her mother, Barbara Roughan (Nee Thorley) had an affair with her husband’s coworker. Under such circumstances, she relocated from Aberdeen, New South Wales to Moree to secure a scandal-free life with her new lover (Ken Knight). The youngest two of Jack Roughan’s children moved away to live with their aunt in Sydney, while the other two stayed…

My sincerity from me to you

Hello everyone, I’m happy you clicked to read this. You’re probably my Medium friend, fan or follower if you saw this, and you most likely clicked to know where my name has been on Medium. Or you’re a curious fellow.

I’m a writer on Medium, I write about anything I fancy, by “anything I fancy,” I mean anything I feel the world needs to know about. I love expressing myself through words, it’s a lot more therapeutic than I imagined. I’m certain you might understand what I mean. However, these past few months, I took a break from writing —…

Lots of questions about the Airpouch looking like a shoulder boulder holder

The Airpods Max over-ear design is primarily what’s trending in many areas after the press release on December 8th. My guts tell me it’s going to be loved by Apple fans, even if the price might be a problem at $549.

AirPods Max combine a custom acoustic design, H1 chips, and advanced software to power computational audio for a breakthrough listening experience with Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and spatial audio. AirPods Max come in five gorgeous colors, including space gray, silver, sky blue, green, and pink, and are available to order starting today, with availability beginning Tuesday…
