He Called Me “Homophobic” For Being Queer

Are queer people now classified as homophobic too?

The era of when LGBT people thought Queer people were insulting, mocking, and disrespectful towards them has long gone. But, I cannot understand why this issue has not been totally cleared up.

LGBT and being Queer, what’s really the difference?

Secretly, a lot of people ask. They no longer trust what the true meaning is, long researched and they end up coming to the common conclusion most people accept.

Queer people are homophobic.

Unfortunately, the word “Queer” has a lot of bad history and many have said it is hurtful to be under the queer category. When you ask why, they can’t answer. They’re trapped in their minds trying to look for a statement that could justify their conclusion.

I had a little chat with a gay guy on a Quora space, knowing that I answer a lot of questions on that space, I wasn’t surprised. Little did I know that he actually wanted to ask for the category I fall into.

I told him I was queer-supportive.

And he asked, “by queer-supportive, you mean?”

I simply told him I was an ally of LGBTQIA people. He didn’t hesitate to call me a homophobe after…
