PS4 Vs PS5: Peter Parker In Marvel’s Spider-Man Has Been Whitewashed
Has Spider-man’s remastered face redesign really been ruined?

Insomniac Games announced the remastering of Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man a while ago and after being shortly anticipated, the image above is what we got — a complete opposite of what we expected.
It was replaced; the face model John Bubniak with Ben Jordan, to match the facial capture performance from Yuri Lowenthal.
This moved the creative director of Insomniac Games, Bryan Intihar to make a public announcement on Twitter to serve as sympathy for fans.
It even took me a while to get used to Peter’s new look.
He admitted it to be necessary as a result of the PS5 movement. In his words:

A 60 fps video (gameplay footage) was released to show the remastered piece of Peter Parker’s character on September 30th.
Despite the inflow of changes, the one that grasped the attention of Spider-Man gaming fans was Peter Parker’s new face, especially when compared to the original from the old PS4.
Several Twitter users voiced their concerns over the recasting, pointing out that Jordan’s Parker looks significantly younger than Bubniak’s. Other users have also criticized Insomniac for making the game’s Peter Parker look like actor Tom Holland. (NME)
This led to a backlash on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook with an attempt to reach Insomniac. There were lots of memes to prove their disapproval of the remaster too.
